Mr. Pearce has been an integral part of building Grandeur Peak from its formation. As current CIO, named in 2017, and previously as Deputy Director of Research, Mr. Pearce has spearheaded several strategic initiatives to build and enhance the Grandeur Peak research process. He is a student of the market and a passionate quality investor.  Mr. Pearce serves on several teams and committees internally including Proxy Voting, Trade Compliance, Quality, Pricing, Director of Research and Leadership. He has led the hiring and mentoring effort of several members of our research team.

Mr. Pearce was a junior and later senior research analyst at Wasatch Advisors from 2005-2009. He was a financial sector specialist and a general analyst on the Wasatch Strategic Income Fund (WASIX)—a global equity product with an emphasis in financial companies. In 2010, Mr. Pearce interned at Thornburg Investment Management as a global equities analyst while earning his MBA.
